Exterior

600D Cordura Polyester with double PU coating (water and abrasion resistant). This is the same type of fabric used in high-end touring and adventure gear. Durable enough to withstand asphalt abrasion and ready to repel rain.

Taslan Polyester (Soft Micro Plain)

Used in secondary structural panels. Taslan incorporates a textured yarn that provides body and strength without adding unnecessary weight.

Taffeta Polyester (waterproof PVC coating)

Used in the removable inner lining. Its high-density weave with PVC coating creates an effective waterproof barrier and adds structure to the garment.

Taffeta Polyester (uncoated)

Used in inner areas where breathability is more important than waterproofing.

Micro Mesh

Zippers and components

All main zippers are YKK, the industry standard for reliability. YKK Coil #5 and Vislon zippers with a matte finish and ergonomic pullers are used. Quality gear manufacturers choose them for a reason: they perform when you need them most.

Lining: Three layers, one jacket

Layer 1 (Base, always installed): inner micro-mesh lining that prevents direct contact of the exterior with clothing and improves ventilation in hot weather.

Layer 2 (Intermediate, removable): taffeta lining with waterproof PVC coating. Install it when rain is expected and remove it when not needed.

Layer 3 (Inner, removable): padded thermal layer with 100g fill. Your best ally for winter. Put it on when it gets cold and remove it when the good weather returns.

Is it adjustable?

Yes. And very much so.

• Waist: adjustment with zipper and snap button.

• Abdominal area: adjustable straps for a tighter fit.

• Cuffs: Velcro adjustment to seal correctly over gloves.

• Forearms: snap button adjustment.

• Biceps: Velcro adjustment.

• Collar: soft, adjustable, with Velcro closure and hook to keep it open when desired.

Visibility and safety

The Hurricane Lady incorporates silver reflective panels on the chest, arms, and back. The silver color offers a high level of light reflection, allowing vehicle headlights, urban lighting, and ambient light to make you more visible.

This feature is especially useful at night, early morning, and on cloudy days, when visibility decreases more quickly.

What protection does the Hurricane Lady offer?

The protectors are CE EN 1621-1:2012 certified on elbows, shoulders, and back. They are Class A and fully removable, so you can replace them with Class AA protectors if you wish to increase the level of protection.

Note: the jacket does not have CE certification as a complete garment (it does not have EN 17092 homologation). The certification applies only to the included protectors. If you need a jacket with full CE certification, it is advisable to check this aspect before purchasing.

Is the BELA Hurricane Lady a waterproof jacket?

The exterior is made of 600D Cordura polyester with double PU coating, providing excellent water resistance. The front closure is waterproof thanks to the YKK zipper and Velcro. Additionally, the intermediate taffeta lining incorporates a PVC coating that adds an extra layer of protection against rain. It is not a jacket with a fully sealed membrane, but it is prepared to withstand real rain while riding.

Can I use the BELA Hurricane Lady for winter travel?

Yes. The removable thermal layer with 100g fill (Korean quilted polyester) is designed for cold conditions. Install it, adjust the collar well, and the jacket will effectively retain heat during winter rides. The waterproof exterior also improves protection against wind and bad weather.

What is the difference between the three layers and when should I use each one?

The first layer (base mesh) remains installed at all times. The second (waterproof taffeta lining) is placed when there is a risk of rain. The third (padded thermal lining) is used when temperatures drop. In winter you can wear all three layers at once; in summer, the exterior and mesh lining are enough.

Can I upgrade the protectors of the BELA Hurricane Lady?

Yes. The CE Class A elbow, shoulder, and back protectors are completely removable. You can replace them with Class AA protectors if you are looking for a higher level of safety. The included Norman Tech Level 2 protectors offer an excellent starting point.

Is the BELA Hurricane Lady a good option for women who use their motorcycle daily?

Export policy

Shipping can be done from any of our storage facilities in Europe, North America and Asia, depending on product availability, and the customer agrees to pay customs and charges applicable to all products in any country other than the country of origin of the shipment.

How do I ship my item?

Correos is the official courier service for orders shipped to Europe. Delivery of items will normally require a signature from the recipient. For Spain and Portugal, all items will be sent to customers via Correos courier service.

We may use other courier services for countries outside of Europe to make it easier for our customers to purchase due to the lower courier costs, although delivery may take 3 to 15 days once the order is shipped.

Please remember that when you accept a delivery, you are essentially confirming that your order is in perfect condition. If you notice a damaged package or believe it has been mishandled, always sign for it as "damaged." In this scenario, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery times depend on product availability, your shipping destination, and the delivery time of the courier partner to your location.

Which days are considered working days?

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and all public holidays.

Can I select the delivery date?

If for any reason you would like your order delivered after the agreed date, we will do our best to accommodate you. If you require this service, please indicate your preferred delivery date in the additional notes section at checkout. How do I track my order?

Once your item has been dispatched, you will receive an email from us with a link to our courier service's website and a tracking number. This will allow you to track the status of your order.

What happens if I haven't received the order?

If you're not home, the courier or delivery service will leave a note indicating they attempted delivery. In this case, you can collect your order from the courier's local office, the address of which will be on the note, or you can contact the courier service to arrange a new delivery.

If you wish, you can also leave specific delivery instructions for the courier service; however, it's important to note that some courier services may not be obligated to do so. And if you do, you will assume full responsibility for the order.

Will the delivery be to an alternative delivery address?

As a security measure to protect our customers from fraud, we will only ship items to the billing address. The only way we can deliver to a different address is if payment is received via direct bank transfer or postal order.

Do you deliver abroad?

Please refer to the Shipping and Payments tab in the advertised listing for a complete list of the countries we currently ship to. We do not ship any products to Russia.

What happens if there's a problem with my order?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it to us for a full refund within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused and still in its original packaging with tags intact. For our refund policy, please see the Returns tab.

We advise you to check your products at the time of delivery, as you are signing to confirm that you received them in good condition.

What happens if I don't receive my order?

If your items are shipped via courier, you should receive your order within 2-3 business days. If you do not receive your order, please email us.

In the unlikely event that your order is lost in transit, it cannot be classified as missing until after 7 days (14 days for international orders).

However, we are responsible for goods lost in transit and will therefore send you a new order as soon as the original items are not delivered, or offer you a full refund.
