The new FF906 has been completely revamped and meets the latest safety requirements and has a new ECE22.06 approval. This new flip-up helmet is even 50 grams lighter than its predecessor, the FF900 Valliant II. The outer shell comes in 2 sizes, which contributes to the more compact look of the helmet. The shell is made of KPA, a combination of carbon, polycarbonate and ABS. The clever material composition results in a helmet that is lighter and stronger than all its competitors.

The LS2 FF906 does not compromise on comfort; in addition to an improved air ventilation system, the inner liner is fully removable and washable. The helmet is also equipped with preparation for the installation of Bluetooth communication systems and is suitable for motorcyclists with glasses. The fit is oval. All this, together with an additional chin guard and a robust collar to reduce wind noise, makes the helmet more comfortable than all its competitors.

Extremely dynamic, with a 180 degree rotating chin guard, the helmet can be used both as an open face helmet and as a modular helmet, without causing neck strain. The helmet has a double P/J approval, allowing it to be used on public roads in both open and closed positions. The helmet is equipped with a Self-Up system that automatically raises the visor when the chin guard is actuated. The pivoting mechanism is unparalleled, LS2 has been the only manufacturer to develop a trouble-free chin guard in combination with the Pin lock and is also more flexible in use than all its competitors.

A proprietary blend of polycarbonate, space-age thermoplastics and additional materials specifically formulated by LS2, KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy) offers ultra-light weight and high penetration resistance, but with some flexibility for the ultimate in energy dispersion. This special formulation meets both ECE 22.05 and DOT requirements.

SAFETY SYSTEM:

To ensure good protection, the helmet must fit the head perfectly, special attention must be paid to the design of the shell shape and materials to minimise the effects of a possible impact. It is key to obtain a perfect fit to your head from the outside to the inside, in addition to the shell, the configuration of the EPS liner, which must fit perfectly to the shape of the human head.

EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM:

Our emergency release system allows responders to remove the cheek pads from the helmet, providing additional space to remove the helmet with minimal movement of the fallen rider's head and neck. It is best to have someone hold the helmet to prevent it from moving when the cheek pads are removed. Slide your finger through the red loop and pull gently to release the pads. Slide the pads over the straps and separate them from the helmet.

Reflective safety patch

To inrease rider safety at night or in low visibility conditions, the neck brace incorporates a reflective safety patch that glows in the light of other vehicles' headlights.
